The Organization made this call recently in a statement signed by its National Coordinator/CEO and made available to National Reformer in Warri.

CEPEJ advised that the incoming administration to retain the confidence reposed in it by the electorate by appointing technocrats with good track records to help it drive the growth and development of the state.

“We urge the incoming government to shun politicians with questionable characters and corruptible minds as they would do the administration no good,” says CEPEJ.

CEPEJ tasked the incoming government to fulfill the promises it made during electioneering campaigns which was tagged, ‘’Prosperity for all Deltans,’’ through the creation of jobs, provision of development projects and the introduction of reforms into the system.

It urged the new government to formulate policies and programmes that will benefit all Deltans, irrespective of ethnic differences and party affiliations, adding that all political parties, other stakeholders, including Deltans, corporate and professional bodies should join hands with the incoming government to fast track the development of the state and empower the people.

“We, therefore, call on the incoming government to run an all-inclusive and transparent administration, as well as pay attention to security matters as no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of rancor.

“The incoming government is hereby advised to key into the Delta Beyond Oil policy introduced by the out-going administration of Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan by investing massively in agriculture, provides micro credit loans for farmers and small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the state,” it added.
