Tantita Security Services Condoles with President Tinubu, Nigerian Military Over Death of Late Lt. Gen. Lagbaja
The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Chief of Army Staff, late Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja.
In a heartfelt press statement, the security chief extended his condolences to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Military, the Nigerian Army, and the bereaved family of the late General.
The statement highlighted the significant contributions made by Lt. Gen. Lagbaja to Nigeria’s national security, particularly his efforts in safeguarding the country from external threats and contributing to the protection of critical oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region.
“We are indeed touched by this sad loss,” the statement read. “General Lagbaja was a true patriot who made immeasurable contributions to the security of our great nation. His unwavering support in securing the oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region remains indelible in the memories of all who worked with him.”
Tompolo, who is also the Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw Nation, called for strength and fortitude for the Nigerian military and the General’s family during this difficult period, adding that the legacy of the late General would continue to inspire future generations of military personnel.
“May the good Lord give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Nigerian Military, the Nigerian Army, and the family the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss,” Tompolo concluded in the statement.
The Nigerian Army has yet to announce details regarding the funeral arrangements for the late Chief of Army Staff, but tributes have been pouring in from all sectors of society.
