Shola Mese Foundation ends 21 days mass feeding project in style, feeds over 7,000 people
Over 7,000 people were fed in Warri with assorted food during the Shola Mese Foundation’s 21 Days Mass Feeding project which took place at the headquarters of the foundation located at 17 izapka Street, Off Airport Road, Warri, Delta state.
The project, according to Deacon Shola Mese, founder of the Shola Mese Foundation, kick-started 10th January and ran through 30th January, 2022.
Mese said the foundation decided to embark on the mass feeding project in appreciation to God for an amazing 2021.
He said that during the project, over 300 FREE meals were distributed to the masses alongside soft drinks, snacks and water on a daily basis.
While describing the project as a huge success, Mese said, “We had different meals for each day and the children / teenagers were not left out.”
“On the last day of the mass feeding project, we fed a total of eight hundred persons with different kinds of food like Jollof Rice, Bread & Fried Eggs, Snacks, Fruits, Drinks, etc.
“It was indeed a fulfilling experience, as a total of about 7,000 (seven thousand) persons in all benefited. It’s a divine service to God and a blessing to humanity,” Mese added.
He thanked all their sponsors and partners for “being pillars of support in this great endeavor,” adding that, “We hope to do bigger things this year.”
