The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter on Thursday said that the Federal Government must take responsibility for the killing of Christians in the North by Boko Haram.

Chairman of the Delta State Chapter of the PFN, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi stated this in Warri during a press briefing announcing the Reinhard Bunnke Gospel Crusade billed to take place in the twin cities of Warri and Effurun, organized by Christ For All Nation in conjunction with all churches in Delta.

Enakirerhi who spoke on the latest killing of the CAN chairman of Adamawa state, Rev. Lawan Adimi, said the rate of killings of Christians by Boko Haram was becoming worrisome, adding that the Federal Government must do all it can to ensure that the trend is nipped in the bud.

“On death of Rev Lawan Adimi in the hands of Boko Haram in Adamawa state it is quite touching and we are calling on the government to take responsibility and see that the killings of Christian’s in that party of the country is curtailed,” Enakirerhi said.

Speaking on the upcoming Reinhard Bonnke Crusade coming up on February 13 and 16 at Urhobo College, Effurun, Enakirerhi, who is also the Chairman Planning Communities, Great Gospel, said the choice of Warri was because the late Reinhard Bunnke before his death, has dreamt about holding another crusade in Warri.

“It pleased God that before he called Reinhard Bonnke home, he put it in his heart that the ministry should hold a crusade in Warri. So in his last days he asked the great Evangelist Daniel Kolenda and his crusade team to come to Warri. Delta State is therefore privileged to be first host of the great gospel crusade after the demise of Reinhard Bonnke.

Enakirere said the crusade was timely bearing in mind the security challenges been faced in the country today adding that the answer to the the country’s troubles was the spreading of the gospel of Christ.

“We are witnesses to the great testimonies of Bonnky’s ministry in Africa. Millions of souls were won to Christ, the dead were raised to life, thousands received healings and deliverance from diverse afflictions.

“Here in Warri we shall not forget in a hurry how Reinhard Bonnke came to hold a crusade in the 90s in the midst of the bitter Ijaw Urhobo, Itsekiri crisis and after good prayers, peace returned to Warri, Enakirere said.

He said they are expecting over a million people to attend great gospel crusade as plans have already been concluded to mobilize vehicles that will bring in people from across the state.

Enakirere also said that boats will be on ground for those coming from the riverine Communities across the state.

On security arrangement, Enakirerhi assured the public that they will be liaising with the Delta State Police Command to ensure the safety of all throughout the gospel crusade.

“We are liaising with the Delta State Commissioner of Police, who may be physically present top provide security door the four days crusade.

“All other security agencies are also been contacted to beef up security.

“The Federal Road Safety Commission and the Delta State Traffic Management Authority, DESMA will assist in traffic management. We shall also have over 1000 ushers, protocol and traffic ushers to coordinate the venue,” Enakirerhi stated.
