Arobaga  Hails Judiciary Over Okowa’s Victory At Appeal Court

Chief (Mrs) Ejovi Arobaga,  an Arhavwarien born London based Construction Project Manager, has described the Appeal Court judgement in favour of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his deputy, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro as a victory well deserved.

Speaking to journalists in the oil-rich city of Warri,Chief Arobaga disclosed that it was a celebration galore in London immediately  after the court of Appeal judgement upheld the April 11th governorship election victory of Governor Okowa over his gubernatorial opponents in Abuja recently .

According to her,the judgement reaffirmed the votes of Deltans for the Governor during the last governorship election,noting that  judiciary is the last hope  of the common man and the oppressed.

She expressed gratitude to God for making it possible for the victory, saying the judiciary  stands for fairness, equity and justice.

She also asserted that the judiciary is the hall mark of the nation’s democracy.

According  to the London based Deltan; “It was a great jubilation in London by Deltans over the victory of Governor Okowa, his humility has earned him so much support from both far and near,” and described  Barrister Kingsley Otuaro as a brother and a kind hearted man with spirit of sportsmanship.

” I want to urge the state government to create employment opportunities through the introduction of specialist skill centres and information trade based co-operatives. There should be better representation of women, with the Governor giving women 45% slots in his government,”she said.

She advised the Governor  to consider any indigene of Arhavwarien community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state for an appointment, pointing out that this would serve as a bridge for easy accessibility of the community and bring rapid development to the people of the kingdom.

She stated that the people of Arhavwarien community voted massively for the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) during the last general elections.

She also implored Governor Okowa to support the wide spread introduction of micro finance to enable business men and women access to funding to expand their businesses at an affordable interest rate and also create an enable environment for foreign investors and  the youths.

Mrs Arobaga commended Governor Okowa and his Deputy, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro for the inclusive policies and prayed God to continue to empower them so as to empower more Deltans describing the Appeal Court Victory of Governor Okowa as a divine mandate.

She advised Deltans not to relent in their prayers for the state and Nigeria at large to enable the governments overcome the current economic crisis in the state and Nigeria as a whole in order for the people to enjoy dividends of democracy.
