PDP grows stronger as defected members find their way back
Jesse Ese, Yenagoa
The Bayelsa State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is growing stronger as the party has over time welcomed defected members from opposition parties in the state.
Both party faithfuls who were in service during Gov Sylva’s administration have also come to reaffirm their support and willingness to work towards the success of Gov Dickson’s Restoration Agenda.
While receiving defected members from 16 different political parties in the state, including the All Progressives Congress, last week Wednesday at the party secretariat in Yenagoa, the Chairman of the State Chapter of the PDP, Col. Sam Inokoba (rtd), noted that as far as he is concerned, there is no shaking.
He also stated that Gov has (in two years) done what others could not do between the period of 5 to 6 years, adding that the Governor knows where the state is coming from and still knows where it is heading.
He added that Dickson has done well and should be commended. He also said that the restoration government has made a remarkable difference compared to others, adding that the defected members have come to tell the world world that there is only one party in the state, PDP.
