OZORO MONARCH COMMENDS NPDC OVER PROJECTS EXECUTION

OZORO MONARCH COMMENDS NPDC OVER PROJECTS EXECUTION

Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC)and its joint partner, First Hydrocarbons Nigeria Limited (FHN) have been commended for fast-tracking the development of the oil bearing communities in the OML26 field.

This commendations was given by HRM Barr. Anthony Uvietibore Ogbogbo, Ibuka 1, (JP) Ovie of Ozoro Kingdom during the commissioning of new projects in Ozoro, Erawha communities, executed by the OML 26 Community Development Board (CDB) and sponsored by the NPDC/FHN OML 26 AMT.

While commissioning a shopping plaza and Egide family hall in Ozoro, the monarch, who was represented by Chief Sunday Ejemite tasked the people of Ozoro on judicious use of the projects.

According to HRM Ogbogbo, Ibuka 1, “I want to use this opportunity to commend NPDC/FHN 26 AMT for sustained development efforts of their areas of operations. I am also using this medium to charge my people, benefiting communities to ensure they protect the projects and as well put them to judicious use.”

Speaking at the event, Prince Johnson Akpomalue, Chairman of OML 26 Community Development Board(CDB)expressed appreciation to the management of NPDC/FHN 26 AMT for making funds available for the projects.

According to Prince Akpomalue, “we are using this medium to express our appreciation to the management of NPDC/FHN 26 AMT for their unrelenting efforts to ensure that funds were made available for the execution of the projects to better the lots of our people.”

Mr. Bassey Ufom, Consultant to NPDC/FHN 26 AMT expressed satisfaction at the quality of the projects

Other projects executed by the Community Development Board(CDB) include water projects, erecting of electric poles and hook-up electricity at Erawha and Okpaile communities including pprovision of benches and tables at Alaka Grammar School, Ozoro.
