Orovwuje Calls On Political Class To Support Tinubu To Deliver On His Mandate To Nigerians

Nigerians , especially the political class have been called upon to give the much needed support to Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria now that the Presidential tussle has been put to an end with the Supreme Court’s decision to enable him deliver good governance to the Nigerian nation.
This call was made by Archbishop Philip E. Orovwuje JP, Director, Delta State Media & Publicity Sub Committee, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Grassroot Independent Campaign Council in the February 25, 2023 Presidential Election that saw Asiwaju Tinubu emerging the nation’s President, he congratulated President Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court and enjoined the nation’s political class to heed the invitation of President Tinubu to join hands with him to build a virile nation.
Archbishop Orovwuje said the thrilling victory of President Tinubu at the apex court marks the end of a drawn out legal tussle that puts light on power of resilience that portrays the efficacy of the nations legal system.
According to Archbishop Orovwuje, “I want to use this opportunity to call on our political class in the opposition to accept the Supreme Court’s verdict in good faith and heed the invitation of President Tinubu to join hands with him to deepen democracy, advance development strides as well as deliver good governance to the people because Nigerians expects more democratic dividends from the President.”
He added, “no doubt, President Tinubu deserves what he got from the Supreme Court because the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) worked assiduously in mobilizing the citizenry to cast their votes for the party at the polls. The court verdict is a reaffirmation of the choice of our people on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Nigeria, no doubt is in safe hands putting into consideration President Tinubu’s track record in leadership and economic development.”
Archbishop Orovwuje spoke further, “President Tinubu remains committed towards delivering on his mandate to the people in his steadfast adherence to the rule of law by diligently going through the prolonged legal battle and coming out victorious, this goes to show his unwavering commitment to justice and fairness. The Supreme Court judgement in his favour is an affirmation of the people’s faith in his leadership and what the APC stands for.”
