One Year Anniversary: Elekeokwuri Says Oborevwori Came Prepared
*** Asks Deltans To Continue To Support The Governor
The newly appointed Director General of the Delta State Investment Development Agency, Hon. Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri has said that the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori came prepared to rule the state and implored Deltans to continue to support him to enable him actualize his development plans in the state.
In Asaba, the State Capital, while speaking to our crew of DENNIS OTU and DANIEL BAYAGBON on the one year anniversary of the State Governor, Hon Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri who represented Ika North East Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, said that Governor Oborevwori feels the pulse of the people and determined to bring joy to everyone in the state.
While commending the Governor for the spread of development in all the sectors across the three Senatorial Districts, the Director General of the Delta State Investment Development Agency, Hon. Elekeokwuri, stated that the MORE Agenda would make lives better for Deltans and other residents in the state.
He however, urged all residents in the state to protect government infrastructures in their various communities, assuring that Deltans will enjoy more dividends of democracy under the watch of Governor Oborevwori.
“For those who understand the Governor, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, we are not bothered by what his critics are saying, our only concern is how we can develop Delta State and the only person that can do that right now is the present Governor.
“All Deltans and non Deltans living in the State should support him to succeed. Let us make sure that wherever we have government projects in your place or area, do not disrupt them, do not destroy government facilities. Let us protect facilities provided by the government. We should cooperate with the government because our Governor is somebody who is transparent, he is somebody who listens to people.
“We know that he is very proactive, very direct, he do not mince words, he is a promise keeper and so Deltans, I encourage you to be patience and cooperate with him. So whatever challenge you have, bring it on board, bring it to his notice, he will listen and address it immediately.
“ So let us come together as one people. Let us continue to support and work with him, that is the only way to succeed in governance”, he said.
