Okada rider battles for life after car ran over him

A yet to be identified Okada rider (commercial motorcyclist) who may be in his forties is battling for his life after a light brown Toyota Camry (which plate numbers have probably gotten lost or destroyed in the cause of the accident), in high speed ran into him and his bike, somersaulting severally and destroying good portion of St. Malachy’s Grammar School’s fence at Ugbeyiyin Road in Ugbeyiyn, Sapele.
The accident which occurred about 3:30pm put residents of the quiet area in shock as such fatal accident has never been recorded in the area.
Eyewitnesses faulted the driver of the Toyota Camry for over speeding, saying the driving in high speed ran over the Okada man before somersaulting severally.
They said a number of them narrowly escaped the somersaulting vehicle. A man showed some bruises he sustained while dodging the somersaulting vehicle which approached his direction.
The residents prayed the Okada man
who was in bad shape to survive the ordeal.
As at the time of filing this report, both the driver of the Toyota car and the Okada man have been taken to a yet to be identified hospital for medical attention.
