Ogor, Oderewo tasks PDP members on unity ahead of 2019 polls

House of Representatives Minority Leader and member representing Isoko Federal constituency, Hon Leo Ogor, over the weekend tasked all PDP members in Isoko Federal constituency on the need to remain united ahead of 2019 general elections.
The political leader stated this during his hosting of elected, appointed, Isoko South Local government and Ward executive members of the People Democratic Party in Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State, noting that, “All PDP members need to work hard and remain united for it to win the forthcoming 2019 general elections across the country.”
According to Hon Ogor, “Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is doing well in the state and we need to remain united in peace for us to return him as well as win all forthcoming elections. We need all your support for the party to stand firm against all opposition parties.
“This is our party and nobody can take it from us. Therefore, we must all work in peace and unity to reclaim power at the centre and return Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and vote all other candidates vying for other positions. Let’s us all continue to support PDP at all levels in order for us to remain victorious.”
On his part, the Isoko South PDP chairman, Mr. Raphael Oderewo, vowed to appreciate Hon Ogor at the appropriate time for his meritorious services to the party and for the people of Isoko Federal constituency, adding that, “This call is a good one at the right time. I therefore appeal to every members of PDP who has contributed to the success of the party since 1999 till date to stand firm, we should endeavor to unite together in order for us to move forward. Am appealing to every aggrieved members of the party to put aside all their grievances and work for the success of the par.
Other stakeholders who made their contributions during the gathering discussedthe unity of Isoko South grassroots politics of the Peoples Democratic Party,preached peace, reconciliation and unity at every level within members.
