Obaseki Victory due to hard work, Good Governance- APC Chieftain
By Eben Enasco Kingsley Benin City.
A leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Ihievbe in Owan East Local Government Area, Prince Dr. Felix Abubakar Isuku has described the Emergence of the Edo State Governor-Elect Mr. Godwin Obaseki to hard work and good governance as part of the reward for democracy.
He made the expression in his home town while addressing members of his political allies as part of his call to advocate support for the Governor-elect; hence, urged critics to retrace their steps and join the party moving train.
Prince Isuku further reiterated that the overwhelming victory recorded by APC in wards 3and 4 has proved critics and agents of the opposition parties wrong, adding, ‘’the dominance of APC in Ihievbe has remained unbeatable’’
The Ambassador of peace to the United Nations remarked that the victory of the party in his community is a manifestation of its stronghold anchored on fairness, justice and perhaps eradication of poverty adding, that the APC will be sustained because the party is grass-rooted.
However, Isuku expressed implicit confidence on the Governor-elect, Mr. Obaseki to consolidate on the provision of democratic dividends to Edo people particularly to the people of Ihievbe while condemning negative comments and baseless criticisms on the outgoing governor, comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
He urged those from other party divides seating aloof to have a rethink and join the moving train redefining good governance like the worthy legacies of the out going government
