Emerhor Promises To Take One Million Youths Out of Labour Market
By Francis Sadhere
The Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor has promised to take one million youths out of the labour market if he is voted into power.
Olorogun Emerhor made this promise yesterday at separate rallies held at Uvwie, Warri South and Warri South West local government areas of Delta State.
He said that as a business man, he knows how to manage businesses, promising to use his vast wealth of experience to revamp all moribund industries in the state.
The business mogul also promised to take care of the elderly in the state, saying the elderly ones in the state have been neglected for too long and that it was high time they were well taken care of. He emphasized that he will create a social security system that will take care of the elderly ones.
On the need for all eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), Olorogun Emerhor urged the people of Delta State to go all out and collect their PVCs and make sure they vote for APC.
He also charged them to ensure that they vote and protect their votes, stressing that they should not allow themselves to be intimidated by the ruling party.
Olorogun Emerhor called on Deltans to come out en-mass and vote for all APC candidates, noting that APC is the only party that can bring economic development to the state. He charged the youths in the state to carry the campaign train of the party from door to door because it is the only way to enlighten the people about the activities of APC.
Speaking to teeming supporters who came out in their numbers to support the APC, the APC state chairman, Prophet Jones Erue , said PDP must be voted out of government, noting PDP has brought nothing but pains to the country.
Prophet Erue noted that the ruling party in the country has been feeding fat on the sweat of the people for the past 16 years, adding that it was high time they left power for those who will bring development to the country.
On his part, the deputy governorship candidate to Olorogun Emerhor, Mr. Thomas Abanum called on the people to support APC because it is the only party in the country that will save them from the present economic and social-political decay them find themselves in today.
