Kidnappers of Baby Obiokor In Delta Demand N1Million Ransom

Kidnappers of Mrs. Baby Obiokor, native of Okwagbe in Ughelli-South by Local Government Area of Delta State who was kidnapped at Ogbe-Udu in Udu Area of Delta State on Sunday morning on her way to her home town in company of her younger sister, Mrs. Patience Mode have demanded a N1million ransom.

Mrs. Obiokor aged 45, was abducted by four gun wielding men and taken to an undisclosed place in a red Toyota car, after dumping her SUV Honda Jeep along Udu/Ekakpamre road.

day on phone that, “The kidnappers called her husband on Sunday night, they demanded N1million ransom, they were told that only N300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Naira) that can be raised.

“The Kidnappers asked the family to go and raise money saying that they cannot accept the N300,000. Right now the family is looking for how to raise the money, maybe to go and borrow.”

Mrs. Obiokor’s sister was taken along during the kidnap and was dragged off the jeep at Ovwodokpokpor Junction along Udu/Ekakpamre road and sped off with their victim along Owhrode axis.

The incident was said to had been reported at the Ovwian Police station immediately after she was kidnapped by her captors.
