Itihwe Bags Leadership Award From NASSS

COMMISSIONER Representing Udu, Uvwie, Ughelli South and Urhobos in  Warri South in the board of DESOPADEC, Chief  Amos Itihwe has been awarded the leadership personality and award of excellence, an icon of good governance in Delta state by National Association of South -South Students (NASSS).

According to the organizers,  Chief Itihwe was found worthy  of  the prestigious award because of his contribution, meticulous assessment of his antecedents over his outstanding leadership qualities and his managerial competence towards committed effort in adding values to Humanity.

Speaking, the DESOPADEC commissioner who said  he is highly committed to the prosperity ” SMART agenda ” Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa over   noted that good deeds rings bell even unto Heaven.

According to him, the award came to him as a big surprise, saying he was not expecting it and promised to continue to do his best for the society.

He commended Governor Okowa for the opportunity given to serve the people, stating that his present appointment would further bring out the best in him.

Chief Itihwe was described by NASSS as an extraordinary gentleman who places the welfare of others before him and also following the footprint of Governor Okowa.

The President of the group , Comrade Godness Igbiriki in  a chat with our Correspondent during the award ceremony said, the award was given to the DESOPADEC Commissioner as a result of the recognition of his little contribution to the society , saying that the award will spur him to do more and will also further motivate him to  do more in service of humanity.

They added that the DESOPADEC commissioner have proven himself worthy ambassador as a key factor to the growth , peace and development in Urhobo nation and the entire south – south region.

The group also expressed gratitude to him for the helping hand given to the less privilege students in the Delta state and beyond.
