ISOKO NORTH UNITY GROUP MOBOLIZES FOR PDP VICTORY

A socio-cultural and Political body, Christened; Isoko North Unity Group under the Leadership of Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi has unanimously resolved to vote for all The People’s Democratic Party candidates in the near general elections even as they vowed to ensure victory for the Party at all levels.
The President of the Group Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi stated this recently when The Gubernatorial standard flag bearer of PDP in Delta State Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa visited Ozoro, Headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State for a town Hall meeting among other candidates of the Party in Delta South and Isoko North in Particular adding that, the party has a well mapped out ideologies with adequate structure of grassroots mechanism that has positioned the party for success.
Other members of INUG who spoke in the same direction in persons of Sir, Dr. Patrick Akporuno, Hon. Chief Gabriel Alebe, Hon. Ovie Oghoore and Miss Beauty Cameroon named Okowa for Governor Delta State, Sen. James Manager for Delta South Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor for Isoko Federal House of Representative and Hon. Barr Tim Kome Owhefere for Isoko North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly come March 28 and April 11, just as they averred that, the group is committed to their victory without qualms and total dedication to enthrone a government that will relief the plight of the masses through democracy gains.
The enlarged Town Hall meeting raised salient issues of vital relevance to ensure victory for the party just as questions from the electorates presented the plight of Isoko North people before Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and other candidates.
Among the participants was Barr. Oroghene Agadiagho who inquired on the Ughelli-Asaba Dualization that is being delayed and yet to be completed referring to mass employment of over 1,800 persons as a calculated attempt by the present leadership to distract the incoming Government but stressed on what is to be expected from the political dispensation as regards Isoko North and other areas of social amenities including access roads Networks.
Others were Engr. Henry Odhegolor, Comr. Marcus Ogbiafo, Moses Akpotobor, Engr. Dr. Goodnews Agbi that alleged lack of Government Schools in Ozoro, low acquisition of PVC’s by electorates, abandonment of Emevor-Isi-Orogun road by the Government, while suggestions to attain an overwhelming victory were given.
Responding, Senator James Manager, Comr. Ovuzourie Macaulay noted that, the Emevor – Orogun road has been a project of urgent priority assuring that, the project is awaiting to be awarded by NDDC just as Alaka Grammar School, Ozoro built by Leo Ogor and the ongoing Igbonine as well as a modern Secondary School testified to Governments performance in Ozoro as regards education but assured that, the Ughelli-Asaba dualization will kick off as soon as compensation are paid to affected private individuals in a short period of time.
On his part, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa commended the Isoko North people for their support to the PDP led Government and all the candidates of the party and had said; “It’s difficult for Government to attend to all community issues and their needs but we will try our best to patronize the Local Government in the area of workers’ salaries, Health care, skill acquisition training for the youths and stable power supply. Also, emphasis shall be placed on Agricultural Development Programme for self-reliance and revenue generation”
He concluded by soliciting the support of Isoko North to vote Goodluck Jonathan and PDP.
