Isoko North PDP Passes Vote of Confidence on Okowa, Ogor, Macaulay, Others

People’s Democratic Party PDP members in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta have passed a vote of confidence on leaders of the party for their leadership qualities, good governance and effective representation.
The vote of confidence was passed at an enlarged meeting of the leaders and stakeholders of the party held at Ozoro, the Country Home of Reps Minority Leader and Member Representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor.
Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Reps Minority Leader, Rt. Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor, immediate past Secretary to the Delta State Government, Com. Chief Ovuozourie Macaulay, Chairman Isoko North Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, Isoko North PDP Chairman Hon Daniel Tutumor, the Delta South Senatorial District PDP Chairman, Sir Barr. Simeon Efenudu all got commendations and vote of confidence for their leadership qualities, good governance and effective representation.
Speaking at the meeting, Reps Minority Leader, Hon. Leo Ogor thanked party faithful for their support for the party and urged them to remain steadfast as better days are ahead for the party in the future.
Ogor called on party faithful and leaders to remain united and ensure that men of impeccable character and integrity are elected into various offices as the party gears up for their forthcoming congresses.
Also speaking, former Secretary to the Delta State Government, Com. Chief Ovuozourie Macaulay tasked party elders to ensure unity in the party by wading into any perceived grievances in the interest of the Isoko Nation. He further urged elected and appointed party members to use their positions to promote peace and unity in the local government and to better the lives of the people.
In his goodwill message, Chairman Isoko North Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor thanked party faithful for their support and urged them to pray for an improvement in the finances of the council to enable them deliver on their campaign promises to the people.
Earlier in his welcome address, Isoko North PDP Chairman, Hon. Tutumor Daniel said the meeting was the first enlarged meeting since the last general election and thanked party faithful for their support for the party. He affirmed that the PDP in Isoko North is one and urged members to remain united.
High point of the meeting was the unanimous endorsement of Hon. Leo Ogor and Com. Ovuozourie Macaulay as leaders of the party in the Local Government in recognition of their outstanding leadership and contributions to the growth and development of the party in the area.
The meeting was highly attended by party faithful, leaders, stakeholders among whom were, Chairman Delta South PDP, Sir Barr Simeon Efenudu, Assistant State Legal Adviser of PDP, Barr.
