ICPC INSTITUTES 9-MAN-COMMITTEE TO CHECKMATE CORRUPT PRACTICES IN EDO

The Edo Women Alliance Against Corrupt Practices established by the chairman Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences, ICPC, Edo State Office, Mr. Olusesan Olukile has instituted a nine- man- committee from the group for a period of one year to help organize and formalize its activities in the state.
The program which was set up by the commission is geared towards reducing all form of corrupt practices in our homes and the society at large as women he noted are home builders therefore should play key role of the concentrated efforts of ICPC and the government.
Olukile while speaking on the occasion appreciated the women for their commitment towards the vision to reduce corruption in the society following its objectives which is coming almost into fulfillment.
However, the executives elected and saddled with the leadership responsibilities are, Mrs. Jane Osagie interim chairperson, Evang. Mrs. Augusta omijie 1st vice president, Dr Margaret Abikwi 2nd vice president, and Mrs. Nancy Obodo Secretary.
Others are Mrs. Stella Osagie Okah Asst secretary, Mrs. Justina Tonwe Treasurer, Mrs. Bolarinwa Obahagbon PRO and Mrs. Nana Audu legal adviser and Agboga olayem financial secretary.
Speaking shortly after the event, the Interim Chairperson, Jane Osagie opined that this forum is a way to make the voices of the women heard; adding that lots of the women present are increasingly more interested and willing to partner the commission in addressing all forms of corrupt practices in the society.
