Fr. Konyeke To Celebrate 10th Year Of Priesthood With Book Presentation
REV. Fr. John Konyeke of St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Asaba is set to celebrate his 10th priestly ordination anniversary.
A statement made available to newsmen which was signed by the Coordinator of the Committee set up for the epoch-making event, Rev. Fr. Jude Iweduunor, Chairperson for the Committee, Lady Rosemary Ogabu and the Secretary, Mr Bath Ikechukwu said the event will be graced by men of God from different parts of the world.
According to the statement, “God has used Rev. Fr. Konyeke to win souls for Christ and through him, a lot of persons are being blessed; this is an opportunity for us to thank God and celebrate God’s goodness on the Church through him.”
“The anniversary celebration will feature the presentation of the inspirational book, Pilgrim’s Guide,” the statement read.
It also, disclosed, “top government functionaries, men and women blessed by God have confirmed that they will personally attend the anniversary celebration and I can tell you that traditional rulers have also, confirmed that they will be present on that day.”
“It is good to celebrate God’s goodness on humanity and 10 years in Priesthood is a landmark worthy to be celebrated, not only to encourage the celebrant but, to encourage others who are working in God’s vineyard or are aspiring to do so,” the statement read, adding, “the celebration will take place on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Asaba with a Holy Mass commencing at 10 am.”
In a chat, Lady Ogabu stated that finishing touches were being made to ensure a grand celebration as Catholic faithful in different parts of the world have also confirmed that they will be present on that day to thank God for what He is using Rev. Fr. Konyeke to do for humanity.
