Former Information Commissioner, Enamuotor Shower Encomiums On Lawmaker, Ivwurie For Making His Constituents Proud *** As Abraka Community Passes Vote of Confidence on Governor Okowa

The member, Delta State Peoples Democratic Party Board of Trustees (BoT) and former Information Commissioner in the state, Chief Judith Enamuotor has showered encomiums on Hon. Chief Evance Ochuko Ivwurie, honourable member representing Ethiope East Constituency, Delta State House of Assembly Asaba, for making the people of his constituency proud, just as the people of Abraka Community passed vote of confidence on the State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Speaking at a thank you visit to Governor Okowa, recently held at the Government House Asaba, Chief Judith Enamuotor commended Hon. Evance Ivwurie for his developmental strides in Ethiope East State Constituency.
She said “I must tell you, Hon. Ivwurie has done the people of Ethiope East Constituency proud and I am happy he is co-operating with us even though he is in another political party. We are confident and trusting he will do more for us”
According to her, “Hon. Evance Ivwurie calls regularly to inform me about the happenings in Ethiope East Constituency and how much support the State Governor is giving to him in this administration in ensuring good governance to his people”.
“I want to thank Hon. Ivwurie for the co-operation between him and the Governor; Hon. Evance Ivwurie has done us proud. He even led a team to chased Fulani Herdsmen out of the bush, I was shocked because no one has done it for us and I think he should be encouraged,” the former Information Commissioner said.
She also said that, “We have been talking to him, asking him to come back to his folks.”
Meanwhile, the people of Abraka Community have passed a vote of confidence on Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa-led government and promised to work hard for the re-election of the Governor in 2019.
Responding, Governor Okowa said, “Thanks to the people of Abraka for this visit. I believe in justice, during my electoral campaign, I promised to do justice to all communities in Delta State. I will not abandon any community, we will continue to work with communities leaders and stakeholders. We are hopeful and praying that things will turn around this year for greater delivery”.
The Governor commended Hon. Evance Ivwurie for his developmental strides in Ethiope East Constituency, while thanking the traditional rulers for the support and commendation in the infrastructural development of the community.
