Edo Election: Ighodalo Confident of Victory Amid Ongoing Voting
Ewohinmi, Edo State— Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, has expressed strong confidence in winning the ongoing gubernatorial election in Edo State.
Speaking to the press after casting his vote in Ewohinmi Local Government Area, Ighodalo asserted that he and his team have dedicated the past ten months to engaging with the electorate.
“We are not worried. We spent the last ten months working extremely hard, talking to the people of this state. We will win this election by the grace of God—if they give us the opportunity to govern,” he stated.
Ighodalo emphasized his optimism, stating, “We are going to win hands down except something goes totally wrong. But we believe God is in control.”
His remarks reflected a determined stance as voters cast their ballots, with Ighodalo aiming to lead the state under PDP governance.
