In a remarkable turn of events, Dr. Monday Agbeyi has been inaugurated as the Trust Chairman of Ifiekporo Community in Warri South LGA of Delta State for a second consecutive term.
The esteemed leader cited overwhelming support from both the elders and youths of the community as the primary reason for his re-election.
Dr. Agbeyi, who previously served as Chairman from 2012 to 2016, was praised for his outstanding performance during his initial tenure.
His dedication to the growth, development, and progress of the community earned him widespread recognition and admiration, leading the community members to implore him to lead once again.
Addressing the public, Dr. Agbeyi emphasized that his re-election was not a result of cash inducement but rather a testament to his selfless service and philanthropic endeavors within the community.

As the head of the 18-man executive team comprising 9 Trust members and 9 youth executives, Dr. Agbeyi expressed his unwavering dedication to furthering the welfare of Ifiekporo Community.

An often-overlooked achievement of Dr. Agbeyi’s leadership was his successful initiative to eliminate the violence that marred previous executive elections in Ifiekporo.
Through his efforts, he established a system that mandates all office holders to step down after a four-year term, putting an end to tenure elongation practices and fostering a culture of democratic transition.
