Delta Speaker mourns Uzor, says Mgbakor served with distinction

Tributes have continued to be showered on Sir Benjamin Mgbakor and Chief Christiana Uzor as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Monday Igbuya on Wednesday described them as great personalities.
“Sir Benjamin Mgbakor was one of the most consistent administrators in defunct Bendel State. He served the state with distinction and integrity” the speaker said in a condolence letter to the family.
“Mgbakor was a family man
that exuded the best of family values. He also contributed a lot to the uplifting of the Ika man” Igbuya said.
The Speaker in another condolence message to the Uzor family described Chief Christiana Uzor as a remarkable personality who served her community with passion.
“She was a great woman and a loving mother” he said.
He extended his heartfelt commiserations to the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State, Chief Edwin Uzor.
“I commiserate with the Uzor family of Odifulu Quarters, Oko in Oshimili South Local Government Area of Bendel State on the death of their beloved mother, Chief Christiana Echekwube Uzor, whose sad event occurred on Monday, January 11, 2016. She will be remembered for elevating the profile of her community”
He also urged the Senior Special Assistant, Special Duties to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Mr. Raymond Mgbakor, the people of Owa-Alero and the Ika nation to take solace in the belief that “God’s will is unquestionable”
“I pray that God Almighty will comfort you all” Igbuya added.
