DELSU swears in New SUG Executives

THE newly elected Executive Officers of the Students Union Government of Delta State University in affiliation with College of Education, Warri have been sworn-in.
Those sworn-in at the weekend include; President, Comrade Aaron Uwangueyemi; Vice-President, Comrade Michael Utobivwi; Secretary General, Comrade Onovughare Sunday; Financial Secretary, Comrade Onome Ebunu; Treasurer, Comrade Leme Omawumi; Director of Social, Comrade Oghenekohworho .F. Saviour; P.R.O., Comrade Christopher .E. Odamah; Welfare Officer, Comrade Eze .F. Chinonso and Assistant Secretary, Comrade Ogujor .A. Raphael.
Speaking at the inauguration/swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected executive officers at the Governing Council Chamber of College of Education in Warri, the Chairman of Electoral Committee, Mr. Believe Sanusi, who administered the Oath of Office charged the officers to live above board in order to bring honour to the institution in particular and society in general, saying it is a basis, a foundation to the political sphere in the society.
Also speaking, the Dean, Students Affairs of the College of Education, Warri in affiliation with Delta State University, Mr. Okonkwo .M.J., thanked the former executives for their efforts in piloting the affairs of the Students Union Government without fear or favour.
The Dean of Student Affairs advised that the newly sworn-in executives to work as a team, share your opinion in order to move the institution to greater heights and should not hesitate to fire non-performing officers of the executives.
The elated SUG President, Comrade Aaron Uwangueyemi said “I thank God Almighty for making today a reality” assuring that his Exco will excel and would not disappoint this great citadel of learning in the course of running the affairs of this body.

“My government shall be transparent, accountable, reliable, open to both school and students welfare negotiation, dynamic and progressive, saying myself and fellow Executive members have agreed to work together as a team for the progress and betterment in order to take SUG to new dimension in Nigeria which others will emulate in the nearest future”, Comrade Uwangueyemi said.
In the same vein, former SUG Public Relations Officer, Comrade Frank Alale, said leadership is all about working together as a team in order to achieve a set goal and wished the Executives success and progress.
