Delta Central PDP Pass Vote of Confidence on Governor Okowa

Members of the People Democratic Party Delta Central have passed a vote of confidence on the Governor of Delta state, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for taken the state to another level of development.
The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chief Ovwigho Monday Igbuya who addressed the mammoth crowd of PDP faithful
from Delta Central at his country home in Sapele, called on his people to give maximum support to the governor, His Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa because he meant well for all Deltans.
Chief Igbuya who played host to PDP Delta central in Sapele called on all members of the PDP family to unite now as they have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
The Speaker said that PDP is ready to change the change come 2019,
explaining that “all have seen that APC have nothing to offer as the Change we all are currently experiencing was not the change Nigerians was promised and expected.”
Chief Igbuya commended the State Party Chairman, Hon. Kingsley Esiso for giving him the privilege to host the leaders of the party.
He added that the objective of gathering stakeholders of the party was to solicit for unity and to see the need for them to come together to forge ahead as a party to prepare the ground for present
and future achievements.
He said, “As a party they should discard the idea of fighting each other that such thing should be in the past because the government is passing through a trying period triggered by the Economic recession that has brought lean resources to the state when compared to what it used to be.
Hon. Igbuya noted that contrary to insinuations in some papers that the state government was trying to kill the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), what is happening is that funds coming from the federal government has dropped.
