ETATSEMI AWARD PCSPrince Igbinoba while presenting the midget to the bewildered Ukwuani Local Government, public enlightenment officer said he is inspired to augment the materials giving to the officer to work by the government having been moved by his hard work, honesty and dedication to duty.

He said he has noticed many times while at Ukwuani, the zeal and passion with dedication at which this officer goes about his assignment with the mind set of going for the news first and fast from his boss, hence he came up with the idea of encouraging him the more with the tape recorder and for others to follow his footsteps so that they will continue to report and explain government’s policies and programmes to the grassroot assuring the officer that better things are in the pipeline if he continue with the passion he has for the job.

The Journalist who was taken aback by the surprised package, told Prince Igbinoba that he appreciates the gift more than a vehicle or other materials, since it is one of his best working tools, explaining that each moment he sees the tape recorder, he will be encouraged to work harder the more, “this midget will be my working guide and a remainder that must be beside me at all times”, he said.

He assured the Patron of the Urhobo Students who also is the President of the Justice of Peace in the State, that he will inform his boss about his kind gesture which is not common, promising that he will never betray the confidence the Urhobo Chief has on him but to justify it at all time.
