Activist Enjoins South South Youths To Keep Hope Alive For Better Days Are Ahead

A Niger Delta activist, Comrade Matthew Kolawole Oladeji has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for restoring peace in the Niger Delta region particularly the South South zone just as he enjoined the youths of region to keep hope alive for better days ahead.
Speaking recently at his private residence in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Kolawole Oladeji, who is the Assistant Mobilization Officer of the South South Youths Peace Mission (SSYPM) said that peaceful atmosphere attracts development.
While pledging the body’s unalloyed support and loyalty to the present administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari, he urged the youths of the region to embrace peace in order to attract meaningful development.
Comrade Oladeji added that the group will work in conjunction with the law enforcement agencies in the maintenance of peace, unity and security within the South South region.
He charged President Muhammadu Buhari to boost the Federal Government’s commitment in the task of engaging the South South youths in policies and programmes to curb youth’s restiveness, kidnapping, pipeline vandalism, cultism, armed robbery and enjoined the youths of region to keep hope alive for better days are around the corners.
Also speaking, Comrade Charles Omadeli, National Secretary of the group said Nigerian youths should change their orientation by engaging in peaceful activities which promotes development, calling on the youths to be focused and law abiding.
According to him “We will foster the spirit of oneness and love to promote peace and unity. We don’t want violence and anything that would breach the peace of the region. We will continue to manage the security situation in tandem with our leaders’ vision for our people in the region.”
