EGBABOR, A MAN WITH A LARGE HEART ——-NODACO
By Ovedhe Jerry
NDC Old Boy’s Association under the aegis of NODACO Old Boy’s Association set 86, 87 & 88, had through the Chairman Mr. Meshach Okuro described the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Comr. Emmanuel Egbabor as a man with a large heart full of leadership prowess as could be seen from his leadership style since assumption of office.
Mr. Meshach Okuro on behalf of NODACO while reading his speech made this assertion when the group paid the latter a courtesy visit to the Chairman in his Office recently with a call on the council boss to remain focused and determined as he carry the people of the Local Government Area along.
The group who lauded Egbabor in the area of security said the chairman was able to curb crime within the Local Government
headquarters and beyond by enacting law to stop motorcyclist as from
7pm that invariably restored peace and tranquility alongside
orderliness within Ozoro environs.
Other members of the group who spoke in the same direction in
persons of Prince Kennedy Alerara, Dr. Ben Okpavra, Prof. Okeri
Akpobor and Engr. Uyeri Akpoghene however eulogized Egbabor applauding
him on his developmental stride in the local government council,
saying that they want him to make indelible marks in every facet on
the Local Government just as they pledged their unflinching support to
his administration and had prayed God to grant the chairman the spirit
of humility and wisdom to steer the affairs of the local government
area to greater heights.
On his part while responding, the Chairman of Isoko North Local
Government Council, Hon. Comr. Emmanuel Egbabor commended the group to have identified with him even when he is one of them. He noted that,
the achievement recorded since assumption of office was as a result of
the synergy enjoyed from the staff, legislators, his vice and the
secretary respectively appreciating them for their hard work and
cooperation.
While listing some of the projects completed since he assume office,
Hon. Egbabor disclosed that, the council has renovated the legislative
quarter, rehabilitation of some major roads in Ozoro; adding ongoing
projects to be embark on by the council include, mapping out of
mechanic village, construction of 80 locked-up shops opposite Delta
state polytechnic Ozoro for marketers, saying: “We have also prepared
a bill to be sent to the legislators on old people welfare scheme and
wrong parking”.
He therefore called on NODACO Old Boy’s Association 86, 87 and 88 set
to pray for him in order for him to succeed in the office, promising
to do what will add value to the life of the people in Isoko North.
