By Francis Sadhere, Delta
Leading aspirant for the Warri Federal Constituency seat under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Sheriff Mulade, has called on party faithfuls, supporters and residents of Warri Federal Constituency to remain hopeful, united and committed to the collective vision of building a better future ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Chief Mulade, a renowned peace advocate, development strategist and grassroots mobiliser, said the growing support and acceptance enjoyed by the NDC across Delta State, particularly within Warri Federal Constituency, showed that the people were ready for purposeful, inclusive and people-oriented leadership.
According to him, the journey towards the 2027 elections goes beyond politics and focuses more on restoring confidence in governance as well as promoting peaceful coexistence among the Ijaw, Itsekiri and Urhobo ethnic nationalities that make up the constituency.
Mulade stressed the need for unity among party members and supporters, noting that collective commitment and grassroots participation would play a major role in shaping the political future of the constituency.
The environmental rights activist also stated that the NDC was determined to redefine the political landscape in Nigeria, especially in Warri Federal Constituency, through policies that would directly impact the lives of the people.
He explained that the party’s people-oriented programmes would create business opportunities and encourage the establishment of agricultural and fishery industries capable of generating employment for youths across the constituency.
Mulade reaffirmed his commitment to championing development, empowerment and peace-building initiatives if given the opportunity to represent the constituency at the House of Representatives in 2027.
