Okpebholo Determined To Modernize Edo State…As Dualization Of Ekpoma– -Uromi-Ubiaja Road Commences — Ohonbamu

The people of Edo State have been reassured of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s determination to modernize the State just as he means well to meet their expectations.

This was disclosed by Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, Commissioner for Information and Communication, Edo State in a statement in Benin City, he said that that the governor believes that the whole essence of governance is to bring happiness to the people and this is what he is doing, improving the quality of living and not driving the people to desperate situations.
Hon. Ohonbamu also disclosed that the dualization of Ekpoma–Uromi–Ubiaja road has commenced, adding, “the Governor Okpebholo led administration has approved the dualization of the Ekpoma -Uromi-Ubiaja road and people who ply the road are testifying that they now save time in their journey and they have a good story to tell.
” The massive construction going on across the state is beyond aesthetics and the reduction of traffic because there is also the economic aspects which is the reinvention of Commerce in the state.
“The Governor has promised to construct three fly over bridges in the state capital because he is determined to transform and modernize Edo State to a portable paradise,” he noted.
Hon Ohonbamu who expressed optimism that the people are getting convinced of the capacity of the governor, said the five point agenda of the administration are becoming impactful on the people.
He spoke further, “the Governor is here to build a virile state with the project SHINE- Security, Health Care, Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Food sufficiency and Agriculture and Education.
“There is no doubt that in all these, the Governor whose coming is divine, has done impactful things that Edo people can be proud of, because they now see that government is for governance.
“The government has constructed roads in Benin City, across the three Senatorial District. Schools have been renovated. They include, Eweka Primary School, New Era College, Ebomisi Secondary School, Ileh Primary School, Ekpoma, Irrua Girls Grammer school, Udomi primary School and even some Federal roads which the previous government avoided, are receiving attention by the Governor Okpebholo administration,” the Commissioner added.
