2023: Let’s Punish Okowa With Our PVCs, Omo-Agege Tells Deltans

Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy President of the Senate and Delta State Governorship candidate of All Proressives Congress(APC) has called on Deltans to get their Permanent Voters Cards(PVC) to deal a blow on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State by voting in the APC to guarantee overall development of the state.
Sen. Omo-Agege made the call during a campaign rally held at Otorho-Agbon, headquarters of Ethiooe-East Local Government Area, he urged the people to vote for him and the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections.
The federal lawmaker claimed that he built schools, provided solar lights and transformers for the various communities in the State especially in Delta Central Senatorial District.
Senator Omo-Agege promised to do better for the people if voted into office as the next governor of the State.
He added that the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will open the Sapele, Koko and Warri Sea ports for businesses to thrive, he explained that once it’s opened, it will create a lot of employment for the teeming youths.
According to Sen. Omo-Agege the people of Agbon Kingdom should ensure that PDP does not get a single vote in their domain in the forthcoming elections.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer,PRO of the PDP in Ethiope-East Local Government Area, Barr. Sunday Akposheri and over three hundred others dumped the PDP for APC.
In a remark, Barr. Akposheri said the PDP is dead, appealing to Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege to provide him with adequate security during the election saying, “PDP can never win any position in this local government and across.”
Our Correspondent who was there reports that Olorogun Mike Edevbie, elder brother to Olorogun David Edevbie, PDP Governorship Aspirant in Delta State, Chief Judith Emuobor Enamuotor and others were amongst those who dumped the PDP for the APC.
Earlier in a remark, the Delta State APC Chairman, Omeni Sobotie likened Governor Okowa to Pharaoh whom he said is a demon. “Okowa is another demon but of a lesser specie.”
He said the PDP became divided at the National, State and Local Government levels because of Okowa’s vice presidential ambition.
Sobotie said “Okowa is the only person in Delta PDP. He sold form to only one person. His daughter.”
He called on the people to vote enmass for Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege and other candidates in the election.
In his comment, Archbishop Philip Orovwuje Director Media and Publicity Sub Committee Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Independent Campaign Council and Chairman, Agege United Leaders and Elders Forum (AGULEF) enjoined the people to collect their PVC’s and vote massively for all the candidates of the APC in the general elections.
