2019: ESISO CAUTIONS POLITICIANS AGAINST CHARACTER ASSASSINATION

* Urges aspirants to canvass on issues based campaign.

 

* As Sheriff Mulade pledges to play by the rules of the game.

 

The Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Barrister Kingsley Esiso has cautioned aspirants against  character assassination in their political campaigns in the forthcoming 2019 general elections across the state.

 

Barrister Esiso gave  the warning on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his country home in Sapele,while playing host to Delta State House of Assembly aspirant from Warri South-West Constituency,Comrade Sheriff.B.Mulade during consultative visit.

 

According to him;”I have vowed to conduct a free,fair and transparent party primaries to give level playing ground for all aspirants  for elective position comes August 2018.Politics is a game and it is influenced by individuals.As an aspirant, you have to do your home work very well by consulting your God, family and the people first,in order to seek for their support and approval so as to avoid panic and pointing fingers at those in authority if you are not favored in the party primaries”.

 

He asserted  that,he is for every body and that whoever emerged winner at the primaries,the party will support such candidate in the general elections.

 

He  commended Comrade Mulade peaceful issues based campaign strategy and urged him to see  other aspirants as his brothers from the same family.

 

Responding, the Warri South West House of Assembly hopeful, Comrade Mulade thanked  the PDP Chairman for his transparency  and promised to play by the rules of the game.

 

While reaffirming his commitment so far in the race,Comrade Mulade described himself as a  grassroot politician, saying he has been accepted by the people.

 

He also told the PDP Chairman that he  has  consulted widely, adding that he is encouraged by the level of acceptance and that he is fully prepared for the Party Primaries.
