SOUL-WINNING: GROUP EMBARKS ON FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT TO COMMUNITY

The essences of love and oneness was recently demonstrated by the Pentecostal reigning king mission in conjunction with pastor association in Okokhuo Community in Ovia North East Local government area of Edo state as they give out free medical treatment to the people of okokhuo community.

The event was part of its three- day programme  themed ‘’the King has overcome” which eventually climaxed with an open air crusade.

Aside winning soul for the kingdom of God, the mission took it upon its elves to embark on the venture owing to the fact that little or nothing can be achieved under unhealthy condition.

Okokhuo primary school field, venue of the exercise was packed full as patients were waiting edgily to be attended to by the medical experts.of the mission that was on the ground to do justice to their health conditions.

Some of the beneficiary who spoke in the native dialect expressed appreciation, thanking the mission for their magnanimity in coming to their doorstep for the gesture, adding that, they did not have to move from.one place to the other nor pay a dine emphasizing that everything was.free.

Leader of the team, pastor Joseph Igbinigie  thank God for the success of the exercise stating that the programme was in line with the.commission of God by giving to the needy; adding that, as the yuletide season draws closer, the mission thought it wise to embarked on the venture with a view to putting smile on the people face.

While admonishing the people to know God and draw closer to him as their lord and personal savior, Igbinigie said, they observed that the.people did not know God and that is why they are doing this for them to tell them that God love them and wants them to come to him as his children.

In the same vein, Dr. Wilfred Igbinigie, one of the doctor stated that the programme was overwhelming considering the crowd that came out for the free medical treatment adding that it was commendable.

He further said, a vast number of the people were checked and drugs was also dispense accordingly in line with the ethics of the medical profession.

Dr. Igbinigie who urged the people on the need for regular check up and not to toile with their health cautions them against unauthorized taking of drugs as it’s harmful to their health.

Hon. John Otabor, councilor representing Okokhuo ward at the council stated that he has to collaborated with the initiative because he believes so well that health is wealth hence he has attract it to his people in his locality with a view to ameliorate their health plight with a drive for his people to live in good health.

In expressing delight to the medical team for coming to their aids and for what he meant on ground, He assured the people of his continuous readiness to serve them better.

Earlier, health tips were administered to the people on the need to live and stayed healthy lives and this was followed by questions and answer section whereby questions were asked on gray areas and answers were also proffers to them all.

This was done in colloquial languages as most of the indigents that troop out for the exercises were elderly people.
