Esike Donates 52-Bed Fully Furnished Ultra Modern Hospital To Providence Delta Baptist Conference

Engr.Johnny Enayomo Esike has donated a 52-bed fully furnished ultra modern hospital to the Providence Delta Baptist Conference in Ughelli l Delta State.
Handing over the ultra modern Johnny Esike Baptist Hospital to the Baptist Conference, Olorogun Esike, the benefactor who became emotional in tears went down memory lane to trace his first contact with the Baptist Family in the early 70s through Madam Beatrice Idonor who normally then was inviting his family to worship in a Baptist Church while very young.
Olorogun Esike said that this early contact with the Baptist Church propelled him to identify with the denomination and his undying love to ensure that medical tourism is also encouraged in Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general also contributed towards putting such modern health facility in Ughelli to discourage wealthy Nigerians from seeking medical help in foreign countries.
While calling on the people, irrespective of status to take advantage of the health facility that is of international standards, Olorogun Esike charged the new owner, Providence Delta Baptist Conference to maintain the facility to sustain its international status.
Also speaking, Dr. Greg Esike, a Pharmacist and brother to the benefactor said the donation is a testament of the unwavering commitment of his brothers’ vision, generosity and passion for serving humanity.
According to Dr. Esike, a Deacon in Winners Baptist Church, Effurun, “Sir, your selfless act of giving is a beacon of hope and inspiration to all. This state-of-the-art hospital will serve as a symbol of hope, healing and holistic ministry reflecting the love of Christ to our communities. It will provide quality health care services, alleviate suffering and bring comfort to the sick and vulnerable.”
Dr. Esike charged the beneficiary, Providence Delta Baptist Conference to see the gift as a call to serving God with happiness, adding, “as we receive this gift, we commit to stewarding it well and using it to bring glory to God and to serving our communities with excellence and compassion. Thank you, Chief Engr. Johnny E. Esike for this incredible gift. We celebrate with you and look forward to the impact this hospital will have on countless lives.”

Accepting the donation, Dr. Ambrose Akpotor, Acting President, Providence Delta Baptist Conference said that the uniqueness of the donation of a world class hospital rests heavily on the willingness, generosity and the wonderful love that Engr. Johnny Esike has for God, the Baptist denomination and the health needs of Deltans in particular and Nigerians in general.
Rev. Akpotor said that the gift of the hospital of international standard is a testament of the benefactors’ commitment, contribution and recognition of the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, adding, “this incredible gift will further showcase the Baptist skill in management of health facilities as well as her meaningful contributions to holistic healing.
“I am also assuring you that your cherished gift of this hospital of international standard will be improved upon greatly. I pray for you that your labour of love for God and the Baptist denomination will be wonderful rewarded by the Creator, preserver and sustainer of the universe. What you have done now will be spoken of in the present and future generations.”

High points of ceremony was a tour of the facility and formal handover of the documents amidst cheers.and praises unto God.
