Nigerian Mini Football Association Set to Host Male, Female Mini Football Tournament in Delta

The Nigerian Mini Football Association (NMFA), Delta State Chapter, in collaboration with Africa 4 Peace Games Village, has announced the commencement of its Male and Female Mini Football Tournament, a major sporting event aimed at promoting peace, unity, and grassroots football development in the state.
According to the organisers, the tournament is scheduled to kick off on November 15, 2025, with the grand finale set for December 7, 2025. The event will take place at the Africa 4 Peace Games Village, Ugolo, near Osubi Airport, Delta State.
The competition, which forms part of the Sport Festival initiative, will feature both male and female teams from across the state competing for cash prizes and recognition in various categories.
For the male category, participants aged 25–45 and 46–65 are eligible to register with a fee of ₦50,000. Prizes include ₦1 million for first place, ₦500,000 for second place, and ₦300,000 for third place. Additional awards of ₦100,000 each will be presented to the Highest Goal Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, and Best Behaved Club.
In the female category, registration costs ₦30,000. Winners will receive ₦500,000 for first place, ₦300,000 for second place, and ₦200,000 for third place, while the Best Behaved Club will also go home with ₦100,000.
Speaking on the upcoming event, the organisers emphasized that the tournament seeks to promote peaceful coexistence through sports while discovering and nurturing new football talents within Delta State and beyond.
Interested participants and clubs are encouraged to register early, as preparations intensify for what promises to be one of the most exciting mini football festivals in the region.
