DBS GM Oteri, motivates staff with awards
…As Onakpoma, Chima, Glover, Chukwuma 5 others emerge best staff of 2020

The General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service Warri operator of Delta Rainbow Television, DRTV and Melody FM , Warri, PST. Malcolm Oteri has motivated workers of the establishment with awards of excellence in order to encourage them to put in their more best.
PST. Oteri while welcoming staff and commending them for their effort in making sure the establishment live up to expectation, praised the management team for their support in making things work for good.
He congratulated staff of DBS, saying management appreciate them especially those who have received award, adding that they have gone extra mile to put in their best to make the system work by displaying high level of responsibility.
DBS Warri General Manager noted that discipline, dedication and motivation are the key to enhancing promotion and service delivery.
The DBS Warri General Boss, Oteri charged staff to avoid quarrel among themselves, assuring that he will ensure things are properly done as better days are ahead for more awards to deserving staff.
Matthew Onakpoma from the ICT Department – received an award of excellence as the overall Best Staff of the year 2020, Linus Chima- Deputy General Manager News/Current Affairs Department was presented with an award of excellence as the Best Reporter of the year 2020, John Glover received an award of excellence as the best staff of News/Current Affairs Department, John Chukwuma was also awarded as the Best Staff Programmes Department others are Wilson Onose – Manager Administration Department- Best Administration Staff 2020, Gladys Edema- Best Finance/Account Department staff, Abraham Egede – Best Engineering Staff 2020 and ESE Pius Oghoghorie – Best Newscaster/Presenter 2020.
Chairman of NUJ DBS Warri, Comrade Sonia Unobunjo and her RATTAWU counterpart commended DBS Warri General Manager as well as the management team for the award. Comrade Sonia appealed to the management to increase the award scope to embrace more other departments, even as they acknowledged the motivation it will bring onboard to enable more best time exacted at work for more productivity.
The two union chairmen congratulated the awardees saying it will spur them to do more for the growth of the media outfit.
