Aspirant for Warri South Constituency I into the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Griftson T. Omatsuli has said that PDP was the only political party in Delta State, adding that other political parties were just wasting their time.

In an interview with our correspondent in Warri, the former Secretary, Local Education Authority (LEA), Warri South Local Government Area,  stressed that PDP was the only party in Nigeria that has the power to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

He added that the party was determined to impact on the lives of his people positively when elected in the February 28, 2015 House of Assembly election.

He also noted that PDP as a party in Delta State, was going to win massively in the 2015 election, saying that there was no other party in the state that can match the strength of PDP.

While saying that he was hopeful of picking the PDP ticket for the House of Assembly race, Hon. Omatsuli held that the election should not be a seen as a do or die affair.

He said he has consulted with the leadership of the party concerning his ambition to go to the House of Assembly, adding that he has explicit confidence on the decision of the party.

On the expectations of the people if he is elected the represent them, Hon. Omatsuli assured the people that with his experience in politics so far, he was going to work with his people in the grassroots to ensure that the dividends of democracy gets to his people.

He urged the leadership of the party to create opportunities for the young ones to impact the people through adequate representation, adding that the younger generation has all it takes to play politics.

On how he was going to cob youth restiveness in the area, Hon. Omatsuli said that he was not going to do anything that will incite the youths, stressing that he will also deal with the issue of youths unemployment which has always been the root cause of restiveness.

He advised youths in the state to always accept what is offered them instead of always trying to agitate for more.

He appealed to politicians in the state to always play by the rules and imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship during election periods, noting that everybody has the right aspire for any position he or she want to.
