The people of Diebiri Batan Community in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State have been urged to continue to live in peace and harmony as it is the only way to guarantee rapid development of the community.

This call was made by Pa. Ogbobine Numa, the eldest man in the community while inaugurating the newly nominated executives to run the affair of the community for the next two years.

Those nominated are: Ogugu Don Dickson Chairman: Numa Eric Vice Chairman: Pastor Lude Benjamin Secretary: Deinfegha Samuel Asst. Secretary: Goodluck Ekpebide Spokesman: John Newyear Financial Secretary: Dio Ebimobowei Welfare Secretary: Ikpelagha Tony Organizing Secretary: Chief Namabiri David Treasurer: Amalde Fredrick Adviser: Chief Joseph Igbelegbele Member: Amabimo Johnson Member: Numa Akpeobi Member.

Performing the swearing in, Elder James Osuobiri commended the Batan community indigenes for conducting themselves in an orderly manner during the nomination process held recently.

Speaking shortly after inauguration, Mr. Ogugu Dickson call on all indigenes of Diebiri Batan Community to join hands with the new executives to move the community forward as no meaningful development can take place in the face of rancour.

The inauguration ceremony was witnessed by prominent members of the community.
